Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Banking: Risks and Opportunities
As the financial industry adopts AI, the role of compliance and risk professionals has never been more critical. AI presents business opportunities to enhance efficiency, improve customer experiences, and stay ahead of the competition. However, it also introduces complex challenges that require appropriate oversight. This session will cover framework and practical steps to identify, prioritize, and assess the risks inherent in AI. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of: enterprise risks associated with AI, including privacy and bias; evolving capabilities and uses of AI in banking; practical applications of AI to strengthen risk management and compliance; and how to improve your personal productivity with AI.

When Good Intentions Aren’t Enough: A Primer on Skillful Discussions
To be effective, compliance and risk professionals must wear many “hats” from technical expert, to thought partner and change agent, to compliance enforcer. Yet, many professionals struggle with the complexities of moving in and out of these numerous roles. In this session, participants will add to their internal business partner “tool kit” by learning an approach for effectively building stronger partner relationships through the discipline of skillful discussion. Participants will be able to apply techniques to difficult conversations that build trust and collaboration. The session will be interactive with Q&A opportunities built in.
