As of April 27, 2021, Old Second National Bank has an opening for a Compliance Advisor. The Compliance Advisor serves as a subject matter expert and provides direction and day-to-day support to the various business units on compliance related issues. The Compliance Advisor will interface with all levels of management and personnel. Strong interpersonal skills, good judgement, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively are vital for success in this role. As of April 16, 2021, CIBC Bank USA has an opening for a Fair & Responsible Banking Manager, in the second line of defense within the Compliance group. The person in this role will serve as a subject matter expert advising lines of business and operational areas regarding matters that implicate fair lending; unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts or practices (UDAAP); the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA); the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA); the Servicemembers’ Civil Relief Act (SCRA) and Military Lending Act (MLA); and third-party risk management.  Ten or more years of experience with this subject matter is preferred, as is the CRCM credential.  Candidates should be comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment, as this role will frequently interact with colleagues in Legal, other parts of Compliance, and Risk, in addition to multiple lines of business. As of April 16, 2021, CIBC has an opening for a US Regulatory Affairs Specialist. This role will facilitate and coordinate examinations, including responding to first-day letters and other exam requests for all US and Canadian banking regulators for CIBC Bank USA, CIBC Bancorp USA Inc., and their affiliates and subsidiaries regarding US business activities. This role is responsible for executing the US Compliance Testing Plan established to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. It will primarily focus on evaluating compliance with a wide range of consumer protection, fair lending and operational regulatory requirements applicable to retail and commercial banking, but may also support other areas of the company. They will serve as a subject matter expert on a variety of consumer protection laws and regulations, which may include laws and regulations such as TILA/Reg Z, RESPA/Reg X, EFTA/Reg E, Reg CC, TISA/Reg DD, FCRA/Reg V, ECOA/Reg B, FHA, HMDA/Reg C, UDAAP, FDCPA, SAFE Act, MLA, and SCRA.
