As of May 28, 2019, Blackhawk Bank has a great opportunity in our Compliance department. The title and salary will be commensurate with the individual’s knowledge and experience. The position reports directly to the VP of Compliance and manages the bank's compliance functions in accordance with the position description related to policies and procedures that comply with Federal and State laws and regulations. Primary responsibilities and activities include 1) assisting with the compliance training program regarding regulatory compliance, the Bank Secrecy Act, fair lending, and the Community Reinvestment Act, 2) identifying and/or evaluating potential risks associated with new or changed regulations, and 3) conducting ongoing internal monitoring of the Bank's compliance with all lending and deposit regulations, fair lending, and the Community Reinvestment Act. Position requires a two-year degree in business, finance, or related field, plus a minimum of 5 years experience in banking; or the equivalent in education and experience. Must be familiar with all banking laws and regulations. Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision- making skills required. Must be computer literate and detail oriented.
